Multihull Sails
Jibs / Genoas
Again, almost all multihulls tend to have roller furling jibs / genoas. Most opt for cross-cut Dacron with a foam filled luff, which enables the sail to retain an efficient aerofoil shape when reefed, and U/V protection laminated on the leech and foot.
Of course other cuts and material are available, and particularly for boats with higher aspect ratio headsails, such as solent jibs and self tacking jibs, a radial cut can often be better than a cross cut. A few boats still use hanks on the headsails, especially day-sailed yachts.

The above image, clearly shows a typical cruising cat sail plan with large roach, fully battened, 2 ply, cross cut Dacron main with lazyjacks and stackpack and 130% Dacron furling genoa with foam luff and U/V leech and foot protection.
